Tiny Rebel Brewery, Newport

Award Winning Welsh Craft Brewery - The project was to provide an extension to the existing brewery to create new offices, bar and restaurant, function areas and terrace. The materials used in the building were unusual to give a magnificent industrial unique aesthetic. The work entailed a steel framed extension with metsec frame and a variety of materials from stainless steel, composite cladding, render, coreten and steel. Internal finishes gave a dynamic appearance again with the variety of materials used from finished concrete walls to slip bricks.

Maindee Library, Newport

Rip/fit out & refurbishment of the old library in Maindee, Newport.

 
 

34-38 Crwys Rd, Cardiff

The construction of 21 student en-suite bedrooms with shared facility kitchen, utility areas and external car parking facilities. The build contract is traditional, masonry construction with brickwork and render external skins.  Party floors are precast concrete units with precast concrete stairs.

 
 

The Old Bank,

1-3 Bloomfield Rd

The project involved the conversion of an old Lloyds Bank into 1 three bedroom house and 4 one bedroom apartments. This involved the demolition of the bank vault and walls & followed by a full reconstruction into a house and apartments.

 
 

The Cube, Cardiff

The building was a commercial use building with a parade of retail units and restaurants on the ground floor with vacant upper parts.  The scheme involved the conversion of the upper parts into residential units together with a roof top extension to create 52 apartments.

 
 

Patti Pavillion, Swansea

The Pavilion redevelopment had to consider the local community, council, planners, and CADW. We worked closely with all parties to preserve the building's features. A glazed extension allowed for the renovation of the existing facade. Sustainable resources and techniques were used, achieving a BREEAM pass rating. The dance floor was updated and the building improved thermally and acoustically while maintaining its historic feel. Additionally, a 39-space car park was built.

 
 

Castle Buildings, Swansea

30 rooftop apartments were added to the existing building during the Castle Buildings redevelopment. A challenging project which required planning & coordination due to site constraints. Construction team managed deliveries, crane operations & neighbour relations. Structural steel grid & timber frame extended building. External features include curtain walling, Trespa panelling, glazing, Juliet balconies, & timber deck terracing. All meet building regulations for acoustics and air leakage.

The Friendly Fox, Bassaleg

A complete rip out & fit out was carried out on this country pub in July 2022 & the interiors were design and finished to a very high standard.
